Position: Central Midfield

Glasgow-born David, a skilful central midfielder with deadly aerial prowess, spent five years as a professional on the books of SPL side Hearts, and made his debut aged 18 in a 4-1 defeat at home to Celtic. He spent the remainder of that season on loan at Stirling Albion. As with so many youngsters, his future lay away from the SPL and ended up in Australia with West State Premier League side Sorrento after leaving Tynecastle. When he returned to Scotland in October 2005, he signed for Alloa and put in a number of impressive appearances between then and the end of the season. He trained with Lok during the 2006-07 pre-season, but opted for a break from playing. After a few months out of the game by choice, he joined Lok as a free agent in December 2006.
